The oldest Ball son, Lonzo Ball, 20, also played at UCLA and was chosen second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 National Basketball Association draft.

According to ESPN, Riley, Hill and LiAngelo Ball were subject to review for possible violations to UCLA's Student Conduct Code. "We respect the decision he and his family have made, and we wish him all the best in the future", UCLA Coach Steve Alford said in a statement released by the university.

LaVar Ball reportedly considered LiAngelo's suspension unfair after the charges against him and the others were dropped.

"The plan is now to get Gelo ready for the National Basketball Association draft", LaVar Ball told ESPN. "He's out of there".

While TMZ has reported that LiAngelo is not yet officially withdrawn from the school, the basketball player is reportedly remaining home and will not be going back to the school.

LaVar Ball is notorious for doing things his way. His brother Lonzo played one season with the Bruins before being drafted No. 2 by the Lakers. "They didn't tell me anything, so why am I gonna tell them".

LaVar Ball said that that the plan is still for LaMelo Ball - ESPN's seventh-ranked player in the class of 2019 - to go to UCLA. "I'm taking him and I'm gone", he told the Times. The three issued public apologies after returning to the U.S. The players also expressed gratitude to Chinese authorities and to President Trump for intervening on their behalf.

The elder Ball says he hasn't spoken to the school about withdrawing his son.
