I loved doing Doctor Who because it was life to me.

"Shada" is now available to buy as a digital download and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on 4 December.

The missing parts of the show that were omitted from filming in 1979 will be completed using animation, which Baker will voice, and the veteran actor has also filmed a live-action scene.

We've got new Doctor Who coming up in the form of this December's Christmas special and Jodie Whittaker's season 11 that's now in production, but we're also getting some new old Doctor Who, as well. On the 23rd, the BBC tweeted a video of Tom Baker wishing Doctor Who a happy birthday, where he called himself the "happiest" of Doctors. The story will be released decades on as a feature-length film and Baker makes a cameo appearance as an old man. 23, 1980-production of "Shada" was formally dropped that summer.

The episode was partially filmed in 1979, but an engineering strike prevented the episode from being finished.

Delhi: Minor 4-year-old booked for raping minor classmate
However, the school authorities denied the allegations of negligence and non-cooperation in the complaint filed by the mother. A four-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a classmate on the premises of Delhi's Maxfort School in Dwarka.

Elements of the story, meanwhile, were recycled by Douglas Adams in his novel "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" (readers might remember Professor Chronotis and his time machine).

Baker, 83, will appear in "Shada", an episode that was left unfinished 38 years ago.

"When I was doing Doctor Who it was the realization of all my childhood fantasies...so I took to it like a duck to water and I still do", Baker revealed.

"That's why I can't stay away from it, it was a lovely time of my life", he said. "My real life was really rather drab".

Tom Baker has returned to Doctor Who for one very special reason - he'll be helping complete a lost episode of the series so that it can finally be enjoyed in full. Tell us what you think!
