Paltrow, 48, and Falchuk, 45, have never walked a red carpet together and rarely feature in each other's social media accounts.

We remain cautiously optimistic about the following news but, if Gwyneth Paltrow confirms it, then it will prove to be some of the most exciting news about her in 2017.

Gwyneth and Chris famously made headlines when they announced that they were "consciously uncoupling" (but meant to maintain an amicable friendship for the sake of their family) in March 2014.

It has been reported that Gwyneth is engaged to Brad Falchuk after three years of dating.

Paltrow occasionally posts pictures of herself and Falchuk on Instagram, including on Halloween and also last March on Falchuk's birthday.

Gwyneth and Brad met in 2014, but they kept their relationship secret until the following year.

The newly engaged couple are reportedly waiting to announce the big news on GOOP (because of course), but they've already taken engagement photos. The actress also has two children with her ex-husband: daughter Apple and son Moses.

Falchuk is most commonly known for his work on Scream Queens, Glee and American Horror Story.

"Conscious uncoupling" became a meme of it's own, which Paltrow would eventually grow to regret.
