David Cassidy 'conscious after induced coma'

Singer David Cassidy is hospitalized for liver and kidney failure and is now in critical condition, his rep confirmed to several Media outlets Saturday.

Susan Dey, Suzanne Crough, Brian Forster, David Cassidy, Danny Bonaduce, Shirley Jones, Dave Madden as "The Partridge Family".

Actor David Cassidy is in the hospital in an induced coma in critical condition, according to TMZ.

Cassidy, 67, was rushed to the hospital about three days ago and is in desperate need of a liver transplant. He is on pain medication to keep him comfortable.

Cassidy, in an interview with CNN in 2014, said his trouble with alcohol was "very humbling and it's also humiliating".

"I was in denial", Cassidy said, "but a part of me always knew this was coming". I want to love.
