Conor McGregor jumps cage, pushes referee at Bellator event

UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor was in Dublin's 3Arena on Friday night to show support for his teammate, Charlie Ward. But after McGregor jumped into Ward's arms and knocked him over, Goddard, who officiated the match, attempted to eject McGregor, an unlicensed cornermen, from the cage.

After Ward won, McGregor leaped into the cage to celebrate with his friend.

After being escorted out of the cage, McGregor promptly returned to the vicinity of the area as he acknowledge the crowd.

Whenever Conor McGregor makes an appearance these days, it's always memorable.

After Goddard tried to remove The Notorious from the cage, the Dubliner chased the official across the mat despite the attempts to hold him back.

There have been only a few instances of UFC fighters getting physical with referees and in those cases they were one of the fighters in action and thus acted in the heat of the moment post-fight.
