The Patriots weathered a last-minute drive from Phillip Rivers to walk away with a 21-13 win over the Chargers and ending LA's three-game winning streak.

It's too easy, and really does no good to use Julian Edelman's absence for the excuse as to why the Patriots have been so awful in the red zone as of late.

Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa set a record for most sacks by an NFL player through his first 20 games in the league.

The Patriots controlled the pace of the game throughout, holding possession for almost 37 minutes and notching 27 first downs.

Performing Movers In Wall Street Facts: Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (NASDAQ:WBA)
The pharmacy operator reported $1.31 earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter, topping the consensus estimate of $1.21 by $0.10. On a similar note, the stock is -10.2% below its 50-day moving average, providing a measure of support for short positions.

That all changed in the second frame, a quarter in which the Patriots scored 15 points. After talking with trainers and appearing to be in pain on the sideline, Hogan left for the locker room.

Stephen Gostkowski added four field goals, missing two. It's hard to put a finger on what exactly Benjamin was thinking during the second quarter at Gillette Stadium, when he muffed a New England punt near the 10-yard-line.

The Chargers probably aren't good enough to overcome coaching and special teams blunders against a team like the Patriots. However, the Chargers would fail to convert a two-point conversion, giving the Patriots a five-point lead, 18-13. Rivers' desparation pass was intercepted on the 1-yard line by Jonathan Jones to seal the win.
