The planned spin-off to the Star Wars franchise featuring the rogue smuggler Han Solo finally has a name.

The film is titled Solo: A Star Wars Story and the logo is something of a throwback to the classic logos of the original Star Wars trilogy, especially the angled logo of The Empire Strikes Back. Since then, Howard has been working nearly non-stop, with extensive reshoots that have likely changed the film considerably from its original version as he shows regularly on his social media accounts.

After one of the most publicly odd production periods in recent memory, filming has finally wrapped on the Young Han Solo movie, and director Ron Howard has marked the occasion with a pretty big reveal: the film's title.

The movie stars "Hail, Caesar's" Alden Ehrenreich as the titular Solo, "Atlanta's" Donald Glover as Calrissian, and basketball player Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.

Howard also said in a video message posted to Twitter that production on the film has wrapped, completing its extended and headline-grabbing reshoots.

The script for the project has been written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan.

Despite the delays in production, Solo is still scheduled to be released May 25, 2018.
