Big Nintendo Switch update brings video capture and saved data transfers

Transferring game save data and user profiles between one Switch console and another sounds more straightforward, however. This means it's not a backup to SD card feature, as many fans would like.

A tweet from the game's official account confirms that you'll be able to save the past 30 seconds of your journey via the Capture Button.

Video capture is enabled by holding the Capture button down but it is limited to only 30-second clips.

Firmware 4.0 is now available for the #Nintendo Switch, bringing with it a few exciting new features.

If you've been looking to move your saved data to a different Switch console, you can finally do it.

However, the caveat is that all the data will be deleted on the source console so it works like moving data on DS systems.

However, those two big additions aren't the only things of note lurking in this patch. Players have noticed that updated systems will now detect wireless headsets - as long as they're connected over USB. Just create a group, head to software's options, software update, and select "Match Version with Local Users".
