The Astros are completely dominating the Red Sox in the ALDS

"The dude is just a joke".

It will be all hands on deck for Game 3 against the Astros on Sunday as the Red Sox look to avoid a second straight ALDS sweep - and that means Chris Sale in the bullpen. The Los Angeles Dodgers followed the leads of Houston and Cleveland by winning the first two games of their series at home against the Arizona Diamondbacks. They were outscored 11-4 in those two games, returning home to lose a tight Game 3 by a score of 4-3. Houston came to play in Game 2 when Carlos Correa had a 4-RBI showing that included his two-run home run and a two-run double. He seemed as surprised as anyone else that he was now in a category with the Sultan of Swat, Reggie Jackson and Albert Pujols.

"I'm not even sure how it happened", Betts said. Harper's throw was high, and Bryant went to second.

And his thoughts after the third?

Jose Altuve is always great, that is a given, but when Carlos Correa and George Springer aren't hitting the team is often lucky to get a win. And as he tipped his hat to the crowd, one fan near the dugout held a sign that proclaimed in blue block letters: "That Kid Can Hit". He pitched seven shutout innings against the Giants. He is 5-0 with a 2.24 ERA in nine career starts in the division series.

Fenway Park is the smallest stadium in Major League Baseball, with a capacity of just 37,731 fans.

For the second straight afternoon in Houston, the Red Sox got nothing out of their starting pitcher and next to nothing out of their offense, ultimately leading to a pair of blowout victories for the Astros on their home field.

Among the shortest players in the majors, Altuve couldn't be a bigger leader for the Astros.

These two teams have to be intimately familiar with one another by now, having finished the regular season with four games at Fenway Park.

Republicans and the NRA open to banning bump stocks is encouraging
A weapons expert described the so-called bump stock as a legal attachment that simulates automatic fire on semiautomatic weapons. Bump stocks are legal gun modifications which make legal semi-automatic guns fire nearly like illegal automatic weapons.

John Kelly's Personal Phone Hacked
A Politico report explained that the phone belonging to President Donald Trump's chief of staff had been hacked. Kelly reportedly told White House staffers that the phone hadn't been working and updating software properly.

Manager A.J. Hinch said he's gotten exactly what he hoped to out of his young core. In relief he allowed a hit, a walk, but no runs scored in 2 2/3 innings out of the pen. In Game 2, Drew Pomeranz didn't even have the chance to sniff the third.

Sale never got into a rhythm and was chased after walking Josh Reddick with no outs in the sixth. We can't do a whole lot of things that they can do, but we can do what we can do.

Red Sox manager John Farrell told reporters that Sale and David Price will both be available in support of right-hander Doug Fister. This is a different team, though. He proved on Friday that he can be just as dominant in the postseason as he is in the regular season though.

"They had a good game plan early on and that was to look over the plate and raise their eye sights, and I wasn't able to pull up the two-seam (fastball)", Keuchel said. The Dodgers reportedly thought that they had a deal to bring Greinke back when he hit the free agency market in the 2015/16 off-season, only for the D-Backs' owners to jump in and slap a six-year, $206.5m contract on the table that unsurprisingly diverted Greinke's attention their way. "It happens (but a) bad time for it to happen".

The D-Backs gave them a fright in Game Two on Saturday night, firstly with Paul Goldschmidt launching a two-run homer in the first inning off Rich Hill and secondly when the battle of the Brandons was won by Arizona's Drury hitting a three-run homer off the Dodgers' Morrow (the first homer he had given up in 2017) in the seventh inning. Boston's runs came courtesy of Rafael Devers and Sandy Leon. Houston starting pitchers combined to post a 4.03 ERA, third-best in the AL, with a staff ERA of 4.12, fifth-best.

The Red Sox will be looking to Fister to extend their season.

"I think it's more of just I kind of go out there and see what I have that day and see what I need to have to beat certain teams".

For the Astros to nail down a game two win, they'll Keuchel to mirror Verlander's strong opening inning.
