Now, post Instagram 'stories' directly on Facebook

The stories features, a copy of the Snapchat feature of the same name, was introduced a year ago on Instagram and was rumoured to be Facebook just testing the idea for their own platform.

Instagram's Stories feature is pretty popular.

Instagram the photo-sharing app, was bought by the social media giant Facebook in 2013 for $1 billion, and since then the two apps have had constant links to each other.

You might soon be able to syndicate your Instagram Stories and Facebook Stories without having to re-upload. them separately. "We're always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you" as told by a Facebook spokesperson.

Instagram is making its stories more creative and attractive with a new interactive polling feature that users can add with a "Poll sticker". After all, no one uses Facebook Story.

Critics have largely called it a failure, and user ship has been so low that in April the company began displaying grayed-out icons in the Stories section of the app to make it seem less empty. This is why Instagram now records 250 million Stories, making it the leading platform in terms of uploading Stories.
