Poll says Trump not fit to be President

African-Americans make up 13 percent of the U.S. adult population but public opinion surveys based exclusively on black Americans are rare, according to PerryUndem.

Men are divided 49-49 percent on the fitness question.

Americans were deeply divided by party, gender and race on whether Trump is fit to serve as president, the Quinnipiac University pollsters said.

Overall, 56% of voters say Trump is not fit to serve as president. "Disapproval is 55 - 39 percent among white voters, 95 - 3 percent among black voters and 66 - 28 percent among Hispanic voters".

Trump's support among Republicans remains still high, however: 84% of Republicans say he is fit to serve in the Oval Office, compared to just 5% of Democrats and 40% of independents.

RealClearPolitics, after aggregating the last 11 national surveys released between September 13 and September 26, found that Trump had an average approval rating of 40 percent and an average disapproval of 54 percent.

61 - 36 percent that he does not share their values. They get a disapproval margin of 63-29.

Democrats fared better when voters were asked which party they preferred to control Congress after the 2018 elections.

It doesn't seem possible that logic or experience will change the minds of the 75 percent to 80 percent of the GOP who remain in Trump's quarter.

In dealing with immigrants who want to move to the USA, 56 percent said the government's top priority should be reforming current immigration laws to better reflect the country's needs.

1,017 registered voters participated in the Fox News poll, which was conducted over the past few days.
