Despite a challenging 2017 NASCAR campaign, Patrick, who announced Tuesday that she will not be returning to Stewart-Haas Racing in 2018, is still one of the most recognizable names in motor sports, and she is undeniably one of the most polarizing athletes in the country.

"Will likely take decades to see anyone even challenge her legacy", Brad Keselowski posted on Twitter. Her best finish in a NASCAR race was when she placed sixth in Atlanta in 2014. Patrick just isn't there. But Nature's Bakery ended its three-year sponsorship deal of Patrick's No. 10 Ford after just one season, leaving the team scrambling for sponsorship.

"Oh, yeah. She punted me, so I just punted her back", Dillon said.

She's the only woman to win a top-flight NASCAR pole position, and while some in NASCAR have grumbled that the attention she garnered on the circuit outweighed her achievements at least one fellow-driver recognised her on Tuesday as a ground-breaker. Her auto owner Tony Stewart released a statement supporting Patrick and teammate Kevin Harvick said Wednesday that he hopes Patrick continues to compete in NASCAR. Tony Stewart called her "fearless" in his first comments about her upcoming departure from his race team.

But if 2017 is her a year ago in NASCAR, and it looks as if it could be, Patrick can find a happy place.

Hurricane Jose hangs on in the Atlantic

Democrats have also been deeply skeptical of the Trump administration's plans to repeal the estate tax, which it has said has been harmful to family farmers.

"I think she's put a lot of work in, and I think she can drive a vehicle when it's the right auto". But the question remains if she can pull enough partners together to fund a ˜$20 million Cup program. But, I think at times, it's also been very average.

Danica made her NASCAR debut in the XFINITY Series in 2010, driving a part-time schedule for JR Motorsports whilst continuing with her IndyCar series duties.

Dillon finished 21st Saturday night, two spots ahead of Patrick in the regular-season finale for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

"It is out there and it's something that's being worked on", Patrick said. Former champion and perennial contender Matt Kenseth is looking for a ride, and you know sponsorship dollars are a part of it.

"I've always driven for good teams, and I'm grateful for that, which is why if I don't feel like I'm given the opportunity to be with a team that can do that for me and give me opportunities on a more consistent basis, then I don't have interest". I've been on the good side for a really long time.
