Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp drops hint over Philippe Coutinho involvement against Sevilla

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says that Philippe Coutinho will be considered for selection for the first time this season, with Liverpool facing Sevilla at Anfield in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

"That's probably a good thing, the game comes early and we can put things right, change it again".

"I'm not sure it's quite that easy, but if it is - if we bring him (Coutinho) in and then everything is great again - then that's cool", said Klopp, defending the reasoning for initially prolonging his absence.

Their hopes of maintaining that momentum were dashed before half-time at Eastlands.

Gabriel Jesus then struck twice either side of half-time and Leroy Sane finished Liverpool off with a late double. A busy September with matches to play on three fronts should give an answer as to how-or if-they're going to try to deal with that. He is one of the best players I have played with.

Swansea, Newcastle clash in South Wales
Ciaran Clark has insisted Newcastle will produce the same performance at Swansea whether manager Rafael Benitez is there or not. Lascelles was left unmarked as he connected for Newcastle's victor and made no mistake, giving Fabianski no chance.

Messi nets 3 as Barcelona routs Espanyol 5-0
The Camp Nou faithfuls were given the first look of the 20-year-old. Barca crushed city rival Espanyol 6-0 on Saturday.

Mane is expected to start against Sevilla after receiving a mandatory three-match domestic ban for his straight red card at the Etihad.

However, in catching Ederson as he raced out of his area to head the ball, Mane's play was deemed to have endangered an opponent. He was later cleared of serious injury.

Eyebrows were raised last month when Karius started in the Premier League clash against Arsenal (with Danny Ward on the bench) and although the former German youth worldwide kept a clean sheet in that 4-0 victory, Mignolet's improvement since reclaiming the starting spot past year makes the adjustment in Europe - in their first season in the Champions League under Klopp - a massive gamble.

"You can't really think about what might happen". He didn't see what was coming just after it.
