Detroit Lions' wide receiver Marvin Jones will host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1.

For this week against the Lions however, our eyes should be on these three players. But bigger challenges lay ahead.

Less than two weeks after signing the largest contract in National Football League history, Stafford's regular season got off to the ugliest start possible on Sunday when he threw a pick-six to Arizona's Justin Bethel.

Stafford finished the day completing 29 of his 41 passes for 291 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.

Quin's interception set up the Lions' first touchdown of the game, Robinson forced a fumble late in the third quarter to set up another Lions score, and Killebrew returned his pick 35 yards for a touchdown with 4:03 to play to seal the victory. The Lions were in scoring range, so the swing in momentum here was huge.

It wasn't all good news for Detroit, as their ground game struggled against the Cardinals stout front seven. Abdullah will be joined by fellow running back Theo Riddick, who also was out with an injury majority of the season.

Prior to the injury, Johnson had just 28 rushing yards on 11 attempts and the touchdown hawk hadn't yet found the end zone.

Defensively, the Motor City did a great job of containing Arizona's touted offense. When he high-points a ball like that, there's nothing a defensive back can do.

The football fever is here, Arizona Cardinals lock horns with Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Arizona announced during the game that Johnson was questionable for return. The Cardinals must be sure to tackle well. And second-year defense end Anthony Zettel posted the Lions' only sack of the game, and just the second of his career.

But Lions fans have also seen plenty of fourth-quarter comebacks, and quarterback Matthew Stafford technically delivered a critical one.
