Miami Hurricanes, Alabama Crimson Tide to open 2021 season

This will be Miami's first Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game appearance and the ninth for the ACC.

Alabama has decisive 14 to three edge all-time against Miami. The Miami Hurricanes and Alabama Crimson Tide will meet in Atlanta to kick off the 2021 season. Making that game all the more historic, it snapped Miami's 29-game winning streak and hoisted the Tide to its first championship since 1979.

The date and time of the game have yet to be announced.

2021 will be Miami's first-ever appearance in the annual kickoff contest and will be its first trip back to Atlanta since the 2005 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against LSU. Alabama defeated the Hurricanes 34-13 in the January 1, 1993 Sugar Bowl to finish an undefeated run to the title.
