In the video of the July 26th incident, released by the Salt Lake City Police Department, the officer approaches the nurse and takes her into custody.

A nurse dragged out of a hospital and handcuffed after she stopped officers taking a patient's blood has said she was "bullied.to the utmost extreme". A 2016 U.S. Supreme Court ruling states a blood sample can not be taken without patient consent or a warrant.

Wubbels isn't filing a lawsuit for now and said she accepted the chief's apology.

A hospital supervisor, speaking through Wubbels' cellphone, tells the officers they are "making a huge mistake" in threatening a nurse. When she makes it clear that they won't get the blood, Payne walks aggressively toward Wubbels and says "We're done".

He is then seen forcing her wrists into handcuffs before dragging her to the back of the patrol auto. Why is this happening? "This is insane, please sir, you're hurting me", she is seen pleading as she is frogmarched to a police vehicle. "Why is he so angry?" That truck driver was nurse Wubbel's patient, and was not a suspect in the police investigation, justifying her defense against police.

However, the Salt Lake Tribune editorial board called for harsher consequences, saying the incident had raised "serious questions" about the city's police department and wondering why Payne had not been fired immediately.

Pipeline Shutdown To Impact NC Gas Prices
Power outages during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 forced the shutdown of parts of the Colonial Pipeline for several days. The disruption of almost a quarter of the nation's refining capacity has already led to a spike in gasoline prices.

Houston Evacuees Fill Convention Center
At least 500 reports of price gauging were logged over the weekend, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton told CNBC on Monday. With the water still high in places and many hard-hit areas still inaccessible, those numbers seemed certain to increase.

Thousands March To Trump Tower to Defend Immigrant 'Dreamers'
There are now more than 750,000 DACA recipients, according to the Pew Research Center , all of whom have a great deal to lose. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday disputed the report , saying no final decision has been made.

Video shows detective Jeff Payne disagreeing with her decision before violently arresting her and shoving her into a police cruiser.

The patient was a truck driver who arrived comatose at the hospital after being badly burned in a crash with a vehicle being driven by someone fleeing police, the Deseret News reported. While Payne was removed from the blood drawing program, he remains on active duty while an internal investigation of this incident is ongoing.

The nurse says she's upset other officers in the room didn't help her.

The inquiry into her case will be run by Salt Lake County's Unified Police, Judd, the Salt Lake City police spokeswoman, said. As a result of the investigation, the officer was placed on administrative leave.

"The Rigby Police Department would like to thank the nurse involved and hospital staff for standing firm and protecting Officer Gray's rights as a patient and victim", Rigby Police Chief Sam Tower said.
