Reports suggest if Zappacosta were to be sold to Chelsea, than Torino would have to find another right-back in the transfer window as they would lack any cover in the position, apart from Lorenzo De Silvestri.

After missing out to Liverpool on the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal, Chelsea switched their attentions to the 25-year-old Italy global.

Zappacosta is an Italian full-back who has a good eye for going forward.

He is also relishing working under countryman Antonio Conte.

He impressed during his debut season and played 29 games for the club last term, while also representing Italy during World Cup qualifiers.

Zappacosta made his Italy debut previous year.

Welcome, Zappacosta! May you have a Chelsea career as prolific as Frank Zappa's musical productions and as prolific as Diego Costa's goals.
