Bixby is now available in US English and in Korean. For example, saying "good night" could prompt the phone to enable do-not-disturb mode, set an alarm and turn on the Galaxy S8's blue light filter.

On the home appliance side, Samsung has a substantial number of devices for sale that feature smart home functionality and also has its own SmartThings standard for networked local connectivity among products.
