Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said that whoever is leaking classified information from the White House deserves to be locked up.

DAVID FOLKENFLIK, BYLINE: Oh, it's a deluge. "I love the White House, one of the most attractive buildings (homes) I have ever seen", he writes on Twitter.

The scope and sensitivity of the latest White House leaks-transcripts of President Trump's conversations with the leaders of Mexico and Australia-may be unprecedented, a boon to late-night comics and a disaster for novelists who must try to compete in writing "realistic" dialogue.

The national news media - especially the New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal - have been extremely aggressive in pursuing the scandalous allegations plaguing the Trump White House.

But the fact that the transcripts were leaked is a much bigger problem, as is the fact that the Post made a decision to publish them.

GREENE: Well, so, I mean, presidents will often say any leaks are unsafe. Long before their father's election, the Trump children enjoyed a stellar reputation among most Manhattan influencers for being hard-working and well raised.

The Department of Homeland Security says it is conducting a privacy impact assessment to evaluate privacy risks from the drone's surveillance and image-capturing capabilities. And it is certainly possible to point to past leaks that had dire consequences for US interests writ large and for particular individuals who serve or work with our government, from careers curtailed to spies tortured and killed. Newspapers, when they receive sensitive information like this, nearly always go through a process of skeptically looking at whether publishing a particular document will affect national security. So there is a complete disconnect between the real criminality - we know it's going on, it is not being dealt with - and these efforts to essentially bring down the constitutionally elected president.
