Iran Says US Violates Nuclear Deal, Vows 'Intelligent' Response

Since the election of US President Donald Trump, the US letter is considered the first agreement written between the four states to transfer Iran's activities to the UN Security Council.

Iran has repeatedly asserted that it is well within its rights to conduct the missile tests, and multiple officials have said new US sanctions targeting the country's ballistic missile program amount to a breach of the nuclear deal.

"Many major non-US companies have re-entered the Iranian market since sanctions against doing so were lifted in January 2016", the report said.

"Steve Bannon and other administration hardliners have been tasked with formulating Trump's reckless new strategy towards Iran and Congress just gave them new tools to do so".

On July 27, Iran announced the successful launch of its rocket after the US House of Representatives voted on a new list of sanctions against Tehran.

On Tuesday, during a State Department briefing, Tillerson revealed that he and the president were now discussing how they can use the existing deal. "The world must not allow Iran to act in defiance of the Security Council and its resolutions".

"The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that was signed by Tehran and five world powers in 2015 does not address Iran's missile program", he said.

He told Wheeler , according to the complaint, that he was working with Zimmerman , who was also investigating the murder. FoxNews.com ran and later retracted the story, but Sean Hannity pushed it on his show , even after the retraction.

The letter called Iran's "longstanding program to develop ballistic missiles" inconsistent with Security Council Resolution 2231.

"One country stands out for its deliberate, systematic contributions of weapons, training and funding for terrorist groups", Haley said. The US must certify to Congress every 90 days that Iran is complying with the deal.

The U.S. sanctions impose penalties on people involved in Iran's ballistic missile program, enforce an arms embargo and apply terrorism sanctions to Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guard.

But Tillerson expressed a more nuanced view of the situation, suggesting that remaining in the deal could help the USA maintain leverage over Iran. Washington has refused to offer global financial institutions the guarantees that they would not be hit by American punitive measures for transactions with Iran.

Trump signed off the new sanctions - which also target Russian Federation and North Korea - on Wednesday.

"On Monday، the committee for monitoring the implementation of the JCPOA had a meeting in which all aspects of the new measures were discussed and very intelligent responses were designed،" he added.
