Microsoft's new payment plan makes Surface devices more affordable

Taking a cue from the smartphone industry, Microsoft's new Surface Plus program now provides flexible financing for both individuals and businesses. For those who don't want to pay all at once, you can also opt in to a monthly payment plan to ease the strain on your bank account. The tech titan is also allowing users to upgrade devices after 18 months, but only if the tablets are returned in "good condition". And customers can add the Microsoft Complete extended service plan to their monthly plan if they wish, too.

The Surface Plus program will launch today at 12:00 pm EDT. "Small and medium-sized businesses that are currently enrolled in the Surface Membership program will now enjoy the same enterprise-grade services and support under the Surface Plus for Business plan", the post said.

Microsoft always has a collection of deals at this time of the year to assist students however, in addition to the normal collection of stuff they are announcing a new program that can help students begin the year with a new Surface device.

Subject to credit approval, regular consumers looking into Surface Plus will be able to purchase Surface hardware on a 24-month plan with 0 percent April. Surface Plus for Business also comes with the Microsoft Complete for Business extended service plan with accidental damage protection.

Office 365 for Business: For an additional $8.25 per user per month, businesses can enjoy the ultimate productivity experience on Surface.
