Her publisher, Simon & Schuster, adds that the book will also discuss Clinton's "challenges of being a strong woman in the public eye" as the first female presidential nominee of a major US political party.

"She really believes that's why she lost, and she wants to explain why in no uncertain terms", said the ally. The book doesn't come out until September 12, but you can already order your copy of What Happened.

"'In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally, ' Trump tweeted". "But then the Comey letter coming as it did - just 10 days before the election - really raised questions in a lot of people". The ally hopes for this book to be a, "bombshell".
