There is a possibility of Microsoft Paint to be a part of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, but Microsoft will not keenly update this software.

Paint was on Microsoft's list of "deprecated" features for future software releases, which means it's "not in active development" and could be removed soon. After hearing a outpouring of support for its Microsoft Paint program, Microsoft has said it will keep MS Paint available as a download from the company's Windows Store.

In a blog post today, the company says it is here to stay.

Fear not Microsoft Paint fans, the beloved, 32-year-old user-friendly art program isn't going anywhere. "It has been unbelievable to see so much love for our trusty old app", it said. "It's been wonderful to see so much love for our trusty old app", Megan Saunders, Microsoft's general manager of the "3D for Everyone" initiative, wrote in a blog post.

Microsoft Paint aka MS Paint is there since November 1985 with the very first Windows version - Windows 1.0.

Paint was earmarked to be "deprecated" in an upcoming update for Windows 10, meaning it would no longer be actively developed as a part of the operating system. It has been installed with every version of Windows since. Microsoft has been handing out the LinkedIn app in a number of stages using the Windows Store.

Saunders acknowledged the pleas of Paint fans who didn't want this longtime app to go away.

So, after 32 years, the original Microsoft Paint has a new home.

As of a year ago, the app still had over 100 million monthly users. The company was not the first to add new features to Paint when compared to the competition and the additions came gradually.

Besides MS Paint some of the other programs that will not be available in the new update will be the 3D Builder app, Outlook Express, Reader app, Screen saver functionality in Themes and a few others.
