Kevin Stewart explains leaving Liverpool for Hull

Left-back has always been an area of concern for the Reds and former England midfielder James Milner spent much of the season in the position after Alberto Moreno failed to convince. Andy Robertson should provide more depth, and also an upgrade his position for Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool have officially announced that midfielder Kevin Stewart has left the club and joined Hull City on a permanent deal. Robertson began his senior career with Queen's Park in 2012 before joining Dundee United a year later.

'For Andrew this is another big step on what has been a quite incredible personal journey in a very short space of time, ' said Klopp.

"I know our environment will benefit him and help him push himself even more". Any of those scenarios could prove to come up a handful of times, especially considering the amount of injuries that Liverpool's midfield was hit with last season.
