Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson running for President 2020

The Rock, has been nominated by a fan to run in the presidential election of 2020.

The notion that celebrity politicians may soon take over the government is fast becoming apparent as an "official committee" has formed to make Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson a candidate for U.S. president in 2020.

The paperwork was filed on behalf of the actor by a West Virginian man named Kenton Tilford, according to The Hill, whose ties to Johnson are unclear at present.

HuffPost reached out to Tilford for comment and has not heard back.

Lest you think this is outlandish, do remember who our current president is, and also don't forget that The Rock has made it known he's not joking about a potential 2020 run.

Dwayne Johnson has to rank pretty high on your dream list of celebrities who could become President of the United States (because, let's face it, anything is possible these days).

"The responsibility as president-I [would] take responsibility for everyone", he said.

By this point, the world getting The People's President, the Most Electrifying President in Politics Entertainment, would not even be a shock.
