Microsoft Apologizes for Releasing Internal Windows 10 Builds

Some Windows Phone users now not in the Insider program also reported getting these inadvertent test builds.

More specifically, we're told the HP speaker has Cortana intelligence built-in and does not need to connect to a Windows 10 PC.

Unfortunately, as for the accidental phone build, Sarkar notes that it won't install on a user's device; but if they attempt to install it, really bad things happen - namely the device gets stuck in a reboot loop.

Sarkar says the hack is "working for many" and also that "it's worked for lots of people in the office and in the community". "We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for being a Windows Insider" Microsoft's head of Windows Insiders program Dona Sarkar wrote in a blog post.

If you have downloaded the build and have not installed, you will need to do a reset by going to Settings Systems About and then check your Insider programme settings to ensure you are on the right ring.

Argentina begins new era under coach Sampaoli
Sampaoli, unveiled as coach on Thursday and with Argentina struggling in qualifying, said he wanted the pair to work together. Argentina now lie fifth in their qualification group and only the top four automatically go through to the finals.

Why the Warriors will win the NBA Finals
If you disagree with this, then you are probably a scumbag Warriors fan, in which case you can get the hell out of here! The two teams collectively lost a total of one game between them over the last two months.

Harper, Strickland suspended for brawl
I do think in the heat of battle if you're getting hit on the hip with 98, then you should be able to go out and see somebody. Harper was ushered out to the dugout by teammate Ryan Zimmerman , who was in the on-deck circle when all hell broke loose.

First - for any of you who may have received Build 16212 on your PC's, it was only pushed out to 32 bit installs, you have two options. "Please be aware that this build was never meant to go out to Windows Insiders and may include issues that impact usability of your PC-more so than the normal builds we give you".

At present it is unclear exactly how many Windows 10 users have updated this faulty build. Microsoft has said that its analysis shows only a small portion of Insiders got these builds. Once the re-flash is complete, you can join the Windows Insiders program again.

Microsoft is expected to release (intentionally) new, planned test builds to Windows 10 Insiders next week. You may either wait until Microsoft publishes the next build or consider rolling back to previous build.

Microsoft won't be releasing any additional Windows 10 Insider builds this week while it fixes the fallout from the rogue release.

"If your device has already started downloading the build, simply disconnect from the Internet to stop the download", he advised. There is a 10-day window to make the roll back, and it won't work if you have deleted Windows installation files using the Disk Cleanup tool. If we find any results that are different from before, we'll keep you updated.
