Running HTC Edge Sense user interface based on Android 7.1 Nougat, the smartphone comes with 8 sensors on the side bezels to register the squeeze.

As it is appropriate for a true flagship, the HTC U11 uses Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired up with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for the United States, while some markets will also get to choose the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. HTC is also introducing a new way to interact with the U11 by letting you squeeze the sides of the device to perform different functions.

The device comes with 3D audio recording capability and features omnidirectional four microphones which help it to capture the audio from all directions while recording something.

Talking about the cameras, the HTC U11 sports a 12MP Ultrapixel camera on the rear with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and dual tone LED flash. HTC will include a 3.5mm-to-USB-C adapter in the box, though, as well as a pair of USB-C earbuds with active noise cancellation. There is no information provided regarding the price but it is rumored to be roughly Rs 50,000. It is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The feature that will probably stand out the most is Edge Sense, where when the user squeezes the handset, it will respond with an appropriate action.

HTC U11 doesn't have 3.5mm audio port so you have to use the USB-C to listen to music.

Further the Edge Sense feature is also integrated with voice assistant services like Google Assistant and Alexa.

Do you like the HTC U11 and its "edge sense" features? The device comes with a 5.5-inch display, liquid-finish glass body, 64 Gb of storage, a 16 mp front camera, 12 mp main camera, a 3,000 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The size of the screen and the resolution leaves the new HTC flagship with 534 ppi of pixel density. According to camera gurus, the HTC U11 camera scored 90 at DxoMark, making it the highest ever rated on the website. The company launched its "U" series earlier this year with U Ultra and U Play smartphones.

HTC U11 also joins the IP67 Bandwagon and is thus dust and water resistant. Let us know in the comments section below. Selfie fans are also well catered for, with a 16MP front camera. And the phone comes in five gorgeous, shimmering colors, including two impressive new hues - "amazing silver", which shifts between a sky blue and silvery gray, and the fiery "solar red", my personal favorite.
