The Polish striker successfully defended her title at UFC 211 with a unanimous-decision win over Jessica Andrade in the evening's co-main event Saturday in Dallas. I'll be facing the best in the world in the strawweight division.

In addition to the leg kicks, Jedrzejczyk's jab was a frequent weapon, occasionally followed by the straight right. Jedrzejczyk is doing a good job of keeping Andrade at bay. Whenever that happens, she tries to get out of it.

And it was this very talent which unintentionally led to Joanna Jedrzejczyk coming to tears in her post-fight press conference following UFC 211.

Jedrzejczyk controlled the pace with her distance striking in the second round. Andrade walked right through them, though, in zombie-like fashion. Fighting in Rio de Janeiro for the first time in 2012, Andrade was set to take on Duda Yankovich at Bitetti Combat 12. The MMA fighter is determined to retire undefeated, but not until she breaks Rousey's six-match streak with a victory over Rose Namajunas later this year.

To her credit, Andrade didn't back down from the dominant champion.

Andrade catches a kick from Joanna and lands some nice shots. Andrade would play everything she could whenever she had the chance, and would do well in pretty much everything. When they land, his opponents go down.

Jedrzejczyk neither knows, nor does she mind.

Jedrzejczyk connected on 215 of her 353 strikes (61 percent), and 203 of those punches, kicks and knees were considered significant, while Andrade was successful with only 74 of her 239 strikes and two of her 12 takedown attempts. The accuracy differential has to be a chasm in this fight.

Round 4. Jedrzejczyk connects with a high kick early. Jedrzejczyk is uses straight punches more in this round after a kick heavy third round.

In her time in the UFC, the champion has shown little in the way of weaknesses in the cage.

Used to getting paid around 100 dollars or so per fight, Andrade was now a 5-1 prospect in Brazil. At her distance, Jedrzejczyk was simply too active and too long, as she landed hard shots and watched Andrade's counter strikes come up well short.

Knowing she was way behind on the scorecards, Andrade desperately chased Jedrzejczyk in the final round. Jedrzejczyk keeps landing those jabs while Andrade mostly just misses. 10-9 Jedrzejczyk, 50-43 Jedrzejczyk.

Jedrzejczyk has also expressed interest in moving up to the UFC's newly announced 125-pound division, but isn't likely to do so until 2018.

Having found a new home at American Top Team, Jedrzejczyk is now looking forward to her next fight - which is likely to pit her against unsafe contender Rose Namajunas. Her chin is serious - Jedrzejczyk hit her with everything she had - and she somehow just shrugged it off and kept looking for the desperation Hail Mary shot.
