Nintendo E3 Plans Revealed: Hands-On with Super Mario Odyssey

The Japanese gaming firm will be hosting a live stream to show off upcoming Switch games, treehouse events and tournaments. Along with that, We'll see the return of Nintendo Treehouse live at E3, including tournaments for Splatoon 2, and Arms. On June 13, 2017, the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational begins. The second tournament, the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational, takes place on June 14, 2017 and will feature Nintendo's upcoming ARMS fighting game for Nintendo Switch.

Meanwhile, Nintendo's E3 booth will open at midday in LA on June 13th, where attendees will be able to go hands on with Super Mario Odyssey and other, now unknown Switch titles.

In a blog post on their website, Greybox confirmed that the Rime Switch price was coming down, and now finds itself on parity with other platforms - at least, when you purchase it digitally from the Nintendo eShop.

Now that Nintendo is selling as many Switch units as it possibly can, the company is turning to games at E3 to further boost sales. Starting at E3 2013, Nintendo simply chose to share pre-recorded videos in the same style as its Nintendo Direct.

It's been discussed ad nauseam how Switch looks poised to be big win for Nintendo, especially relative to the modest success of Wii U before it.

Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima said last month Nintendo would not hold a traditional press conference at E3 2017. Regardless, we can assure you that no matter which version of RiME you play - and we hope to have a Switch version release date announced shortly - you're going to have an unbelievable and touching experience.
