Chinese multinational Lenovo has quietly launched its brand new fitness tracker HW01 in India. It is exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs. 1,999 in black colour variant.

The Lenovo HW01 smart band tracks your steps, and it also has a heart rate monitor to actively track the heart rate, and there is a warning whenever you are overexerting yourself.

It is being said that the dynamic heart rate monitor is capable of monitoring heart rate every 15 minutes once, and the company has claimed that the band vibrates when your heart rate has reached certain threshold.

Apart from this, the fitness tracker also has a built in anti- sleep mode which wakes you up in case you oversleep. "This mode alerts you of concentration loss or dozing while driving or working at night", states Lenovo.

The Lenovo Smart Band HW01 is another fitness tracker which is offering nearly identical features which are available on most fitness trackers costing less than Rs3000.

As per the features, Lenovo's Smart Band HW01 comes packed with a 0.91-inch OLED display right at the top of the display. It also embraces sleep tracking feature to track your sleeping habits. The device has IP65 certification, which means it is water and dust proof. It supports Apple HealthKit and Google Fit, which uses sensors to record your physical fitness activities. It also works with an Android and iOS app to collect and analyze data, remotely control music and click photos, and alert users to notifications like an incoming call, email, or WhatsApp message. This is considered too short against a wearable device like Xiaomi's Mi Band 2 selling around the same price levels and can last a whole of 30 days on a single charge.
