(Unless the president sees another disabled reporter, of course.) Just a bunch of applause, zealous cheering, and, presumably, accusations that Trump's various enemies spend their lives living in a bubble. "Look forward to it!" tweeted Mr. Trump.

The reasoning for the rally or topics of discussion were not immediately clear, though it comes as Trump crosses the 100-day mark of his time in office.

In a counter-programming twist, president Donald Trump has scheduled a Pennsylvania rally the same night as the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Trump on Saturday also said he plans to announce new tax reforms next week.

Mr. Glassner said the rally, which will be the fourth in recent weeks, will review Mr. Trump's accomplishments since taking office in January.

Swing-state Pennsylvania delivered for Mr. Trump in the election, with large margins in hard-hit rural areas giving him the commonwealth's 20 electoral votes.

The event also falls on the same night as the White House Correspondent's Dinner, which Trump has chose to skip, breaking years of precedent.

The decision to hold campaign-funded rallies gives Trump more flexibility - from deciding who's allowed in to helping the campaign build out its database of supporters' contact information.
