People are freaking out over Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino

It's available for a limited time, starting this Wednesday through Sunday while supplies last. Some sour blue drizzle lines the cup and is topped with whipped cream and pink and blue powder sprinkled on top.

Judging from early photos, the change might not be as stark as Starbucks promises - but the drink certainly boasts some bold colors.

The coffee chain says its new color-changing drink starts out sweet and fruity then transforms to tangy and tart. Find it at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

"Adding a beverage that looks like a blenderized doughnut to the menu means many people will question the drink's nutritional value", notes Business Insider.

"The elusive unicorn from medieval legend has been making a comeback", said Starbucks, suggesting some sort of online chumming. The more you swirl it, the more it changes.

After days of speculation and and social media frenzy over sightings of a colorful new beverage at Starbucks, the rumors have officially been confirmed.

Mythical creature enthusiasts with a sweet tooth can now tell baristas to whip them up a Unicorn Frappuccino.

There's still no official date that the Unicorn Frapp is due to hit Starbucks, but rumour has it that we'll know when to expect it by 19th April.

If you were wondering what flavor "Unicorn" evokes, that would be a blended crème base with mango syrup that apparently tastes like sour raspberry.
