Trump Asks If Clinton Campaign Got Kickback To Lift Russia Sanctions

Some suggested the Clinton tweet means Trump is anxious his meetings could be debacles of Angela-Merkel-meeting proportions.

It's been almost five months since Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton on Election Day, but the president can't seem to let her go.

President Trump kicked off the week by floating a couple questions about Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and her political allies - including the former chairman of her presidential campaign.

Has anyone noticed that Trump's tweets lately seem to be largely random blasts from the past?

"Did Hillary Clinton ever apologize for receiving the answers to the debate?" the president tweeted.

The following day, Clinton was asked a question about the death penalty, although it was different than the one Brazile provided.

"Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates", Trump said earlier this year while pushing back against questions about possible ties between his campaign and Russian Federation.

"Are you kidding me?"

Trump, who is believed to have connections with Russian Federation, has in the past raised questions about why the Clintons are not under investigation for various ties to Russian Federation.

"Did Hillary know?" Trump asked. "It would be the electric chair, OK?"

The damage this has caused is impossible to measure accurately, but despite Trump's claims otherwise, this was a close election, and Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 3 million.

"I think when the President-elect, who's also the head of your party...tells you before he's even inaugurated he doesn't wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone, and content", Conway said on MSNBC's Morning Joe at the time, according to Fox News.
